With a paired-back, rootsy sound, The Whileaways weave together the three distinctive voices of Noriana Kennedy, Nicola Joyce and Noelie McDonnell. Their self-titled debut album was recorded in a log cabin just outside Tuam, Co. Galway.

'Everyone' Christmas Single

The Whileaways

The Whileaways release their Christmas single ahead of their third album in the new year. Originally recorded for that album, the poignant song was plucked from the collection for Christmas release because of it's tender sentiment, that is ever more pertinent at this time of year: Accompanied by a beautifully shot video, it's hard to put your finger on exactly what makes this combination so moving. Maybe it's that Noelie McDonnell's songwriting simply expresses that deepest wish in all of us "I just hope everyone will be OK".
